Both a continent and a country, Australia is a fascinating destination like nowhere else on earth. Home to vibrant, world class, big cities like Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, as well as staggering natural attractions like Uluru (Ayers Rock) in the red rock heart of the outback, and the Great Barrier Reef, where the opportunities to explore underwater are boundless. And then there are the exotic animals: from koalas to kangaroos to wallabies, they are an attraction unto themselves. To explore all of Australia would take months, so it’s best to plan a trip around a few key attractions and return for the others on the next holiday.
