PAPUA NEW GUINEA

To get really off the grid, head to this island nation in Oceana, where tourism infrastructure remains basic and you’ll have a chance to interact with the hundreds of different ethnic groups that make up Papua New Guinea (PNG). The culturally rich country is home to deserted white sand beaches, excellent snorkeling and a laid back pace of life. And due to its ethnic diversity, it also has an eclectic range of music, dance, art and handicrafts to experience and bring home.
