It’s very hard not to fall in love with France upon first sight and want to plan every returning trip here. This country has it all: one of the world’s most beautiful cities, Paris, medieval towns and chateaus galore, amazing food, high fashion, beaches and centuries upon centuries of history. Beyond this, France possess a certain je n’ai ce quo that hooks travelers on first bite, and you’ll quickly learn the hardest part of a holiday in France is figuring out where to visit. The City of Lights is of course a must-see, but in summer so is Provence and the South of France, where the romance of Gatsby still lives in the colorful seaside and country towns. For modern history buffs, Normandy awaits, while wine connoisseurs will want to also explore Burgundy and Bordeaux.
