IRELAND

There is no place like Ireland, and those who have visited, say they never forget this magical island off the coast of England and Wales. The home of Guinness, Oscar Wilde and St Patrick, Ireland is also legendary for its scenery, so lush and green it has the nickname of the “Emerald Isle.” From wild, brooding moors and slate hued lakes to dramatic cliffs plunging into the cold ocean blue of the Atlantic to miles upon miles of green rolling hills punctuated by castles dating back to the 12th century, there’s no question Ireland is naturally photogenic. But beyond the countryside are buzzing cities like Dublin, Galway and Cork, and in the north, Belfast, where the people are friendly, the whiskey is excellent and the pub culture thriving.
